Why Joe Rogan won’t be commentating at UFC 304 as MMA legend replaces him in broadcast team

Joe Rogan Steps Down from UFC Commentary at UFC 304, Michael Bisping Takes His Place

In a significant change to the UFC broadcast team, Joe Rogan will not be commentating at UFC 304. Instead, MMA legend Michael Bisping will fill Rogan’s spot alongside Jon Anik and Daniel Cormier.

Rogan’s absence from UFC 304 is due to his exclusive contract with the promotion, which limits his involvement to events held in the United States.

Bisping Stepping In

Michael Bisping, the former UFC middleweight champion, is a natural choice to replace Rogan. Bisping’s extensive experience as a fighter and his sharp wit and analysis have made him a fan favorite.

UFC president Dana White praised Bisping’s addition to the broadcast team, saying, “Michael is an absolute legend in the sport. He brings a unique perspective and a lot of charisma to the commentary booth.”

Rogan’s Absence

Rogan’s decision to step back from international UFC events stems from his busy schedule and desire to focus on other projects.

In a recent interview, Rogan explained, “I’m doing too much shit. I don’t know if I’m doing myself or all the other things I do a disservice.” He added, “I had a bunch of conversations with Dana, and I decided to do no more international travel.”

Other Broadcast Team Members

In addition to Bisping, Cormier, and Anik, several other familiar faces will be involved in the UFC 304 broadcast.

John Gooden and Michael ‘Venom’ Page will join Bisping and Cormier for the official weigh-in show. Chael Sonnen, Laura Sanko, and Din Thomas will serve as desk analysts for the post-fight show, hosted by Brett Okamoto.

Megan Olivi will conduct backstage interviews and provide real-time updates. Bruce Buffer will be the legendary Octagon announcer.

Exciting Title Fights

UFC 304 features two highly anticipated title fights.

In the main event, Leon Edwards defends his UFC welterweight championship against Belal Muhammad. In a co-main event showdown, Tom Aspinall puts his interim UFC heavyweight title on the line against Curtis Blaydes.

With a stacked fight card and a new addition to the commentary booth, UFC 304 promises to be an unforgettable event for MMA enthusiasts.
