Milan Drop Kalulu, Adli, and Pobega Out of Project for Serie A Opener

Blog Post October 18, 2023

Paulo Fonseca has announced his squad list for Milan’s first Serie A game of the season against Torino at San Siro. As reported by Milannews, new signing Emerson Royal won’t be available against the Granata due to bureaucratic reasons, and youngsters Francesco Camarda, Mattia Liberali, and Kevin Zeroli are not part of the team for today’s game as well.

However, the major transfer update comes from the omission of three regular first-team players: Tommaso Pobega, Yacine Adli, and Pierre Kalulu. The trio is not part of the team as it is out of the Rossoneri’s technical project.

Kalulu is in talks with Juventus, but Atalanta has also shown interest in the French defender. According to several sources, Juventus has already shaken hands with Milan and the player’s entourage, but the defender has taken time to think about his next destination.
