Donald Trump makes his feelings clear on Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson

Donald Trump Gives His Prediction for Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson

When YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul eventually faces off against former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, he can expect Donald Trump to be watching. The former President of the United States is a well-known combat sports fan who is often seen cageside for the biggest fights in the UFC.

And the 78-year-old politician has had his say on how he sees the fight between Tyson and Paul going.

As he arrived to record the Impaulsive podcast, hosted by Paul’s older brother Logan, Trump was immediately asked who he thought would win the blockbuster fight.

“Jake or Tyson, who you got,” asked Logan.

While Trump didn’t answer the question directly, he offered an insight into how he sees the fight going.

He said: “Look Mike was fantastic but, you know, Mike’s a little older now and you guys can fight. You can legitimately fight.

“It’s so amazing because I always thought like a UFC guy or a top contender would be able to win even at 75-years-old, but it doesn’t work that way.

“The clock is still the clock.”

In October 2022, Paul faced another ex-World Champion in the ring, as he defeated former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva by unanimous decision.

With Silva being 47 years old at the time of the fight, Paul clearly doesn’t believe that the skills of world champion athletes like Silva and Tyson fade with age, something that Trump disagrees with.

But Logan Paul seems to agree with his brother, as he has also faced a retired world champion in Floyd Mayweather, who he fought in an exhibition fight in 2021.

Since the Mayweather fight, Logan has signed for the WWE, where he claimed the United States Championship belt in less than ten matches.
