Bridgerton Season 4: Korean-Australian Actress Yerin Ha Cast as Sophie Beckett
According to Variety, Korean-Australian actress Yerin Ha has been cast as Sophie Beckett, the love interest of Benedict Bridgerton in the upcoming fourth season of the popular romance drama “Bridgerton.”
Yerin Ha’s Career and Roles
29-year-old Ha has previously starred as Kwan Ha in the recently canceled Paramount+ series “Halo.” She also appeared in the Australian miniseries “Bad Behaviour,” the 2022 horror comedy “Sissy,” the 2022 season of ABC drama “Troppo,” and several episodes of the one-season 2019 drama “Reef Break.”
Benedict’s Love Story
Season four of “Bridgerton” will focus on the love story of Benedict, the second eldest Bridgerton sibling. Despite his brothers’ marriages, Benedict is reluctant to settle down until he meets a mysterious “Lady in Silver” at his mother’s masquerade ball.
Benedict’s Journey of Self-Discovery
In season three, Benedict explored his sexuality with Lady Tilley Arnold and Paul Suarez. “He’s a charming man who’s trying to find his way,” executive producer Shonda Rhimes said of Benedict. “He’s very delightful and funny. I’m excited for everybody to watch him.”

“Bridgerton” has become a global phenomenon since its debut in 2020. It has amassed 9.3 billion viewing minutes in June alone and has helped Netflix add eight million new subscribers over the April – June period, a 37 percent increase over the same period in 2022.
