ëlgr

Price: R395 per person for three courses.

Tucked away on busy Kloof Street lies ëlgr – a modern, yet casual dining, experience with a globally inspired menu. Available for dinner Wednesdays to Saturdays, the ëlgr winter special menu offers three courses, including a 12-hour oxtail ragu with semolina gnocchi or Mediterranean butterbean stew. Chef Jesper Nilsson has focused on hearty, flavorful, and comforting dishes made with seasonal ingredients.

Den Anker

Price: R300 for two dishes.

Celebrating 30 years of bringing a piece of Belgium to the heart of the Mother City, Den Anker is offering diners an exclusive winter feast this season. Located on the quayside of the V&A Waterfront, Den Anker is a stalwart of the Cape Town culinary scene – loved for its Belgian cuisine and vast array of beers. From Monday to Friday, diners can choose any two dishes – Moules Frites, Vol au Vent, Wagyu Burger and Frites, or Fish and Frites – for only R300.

In collaboration with Italian master chef Luciano Monosilio, executive chef Justin Barker and his local team serve exceptional antipasti and pasta-sharing plates in a cozy, yet chic, setting. Burger & Lobster

Price: R189 for a B&L Cheese Burger, Lobster Roll Slider, B&L Fries and Lemon Garlic Butter.

A vibey spot on bustling Bree Street, Burger & Lobster has perfected the art of “surf ‘n turf”, served alongside trendy cocktails. Available for lunch and dinner Monday through Sunday, the winter special for R189 includes a B&L cheeseburger, a lobster roll slider, B&L fries, and lemon garlic butter.
