Fortaleza seeks Mancuso for the second stage of the South American Cup and requests urgency in documentation to Estudiantes
The deadline for Fortaleza to submit Eros Mancuso’s documentation to Conmebol is 12th, Monday. If the club fails to regularize the fullback, Leão will only be able to use him in the following stage if it advances.

In a race against time, Fortaleza urgently requested Eros Mancuso’s documentation from Estudiantes-ARG so that it can regularize the player in the South American Cup and have him available in the second stage. The deadline given by Conmebol to register athletes in this phase of the continental competition ends at 12 on Monday.
This Friday, 9th, the tricolor board will have to submit to Conmebol a “provisional registration form for players,” where the club indicates new athletes that intend to use in the current phase of the continental competition. On 12, Monday, Leão needs to send the documentation so that they are regularized.
One of the main highlights of Estudiantes in the current season – as he was also in 2023 – the right-back arrives at Tricolor to compete with Tinga, club captain, and idol. Dudu, with no space, must be negotiated. Fortaleza, however, has not yet made the signing of the Argentine official due to bureaucratic issues in exchanging documents.

If it is not possible to regularize Mancuso until next Monday, 12, Leão do Pici will only be able to count on the right-back in the quarter-finals of Sula if he manages to qualify against Rosario Central.
