Fabrício Bruno aceita oferta de clube francês; agente do jogador se reúne com diretoria do Flamengo

Fabrício Bruno Nearing Exit from Flamengo: Rennes Set to Up Offer

Flamengo’s Fabrício Bruno is on the verge of joining French club Rennes. The center-back’s representatives have already agreed on personal terms with the French side, but Rennes must now negotiate with Flamengo. The initial offer from Rennes was rejected by the Brazilian club.

On Wednesday, August 7th, Flamengo vice-president Marcos Braz met with one of Bruno’s agents to discuss the transfer.

Rennes to Increase Offer

Rennes’ initial offer was €14 million (R$85.7 million), which fell short of Flamengo’s asking price. To secure Bruno’s services, Rennes is expected to increase their offer to around €15 million (R$91.8 million).

The new offer is likely to be structured as €13.5 million (R$82.6 million) guaranteed plus €1.5 million (R$9.1 million) in performance-based bonuses.

Contract Details

If the transfer goes through, Bruno will sign a four-year contract with Rennes. He has been a regular starter for Flamengo, but he is now seeking a new challenge in Europe.

Flamengo’s Stance

Flamengo is keen to keep Bruno, but they are also aware of his desire to move to Europe. The club will only sell him if they receive an acceptable offer.

The transfer saga is expected to continue in the coming days as Rennes and Flamengo negotiate the final terms of the deal.
