Drei Leichen in Wohnhaus in Perg gefunden

Three Bodies Found in Perg Residence

In Perg, Upper Austria, three bodies were discovered on Friday: an 82-year-old man, his 75-year-old wife, and their 57-year-old daughter. The precise sequence of events is still under investigation, but police believe “no fourth party was involved.”

A neighbor alerted authorities after growing concerned. The three bodies were found during a home entry on Friday afternoon and have not yet been officially identified. However, it is likely the occupants of the house – the elderly couple and their mentally challenged daughter.

The specific circumstances surrounding their deaths are still under investigation, but police suspect a murder-suicide involving a firearm. An autopsy has been ordered by the Linz Public Prosecutor’s Office. Police declined to comment on speculation that the father shot his wife and then himself, and that the remaining daughter died as a result of a fall.
